Thanksgiving is a time to spend with family and friends, so we will not have public hours Thursday, Nov 27th or Saturday, Nov 29th. Volunteers will be coming in for their shifts to care for the birds.
We are the ORIGINAL parrothelp, established in 2000, 501(c)(3) and licensed with the IRS and State of MN. 612-210-1752 Check out the PAEPer on this site, and on Facebook at Parrothelp Parrotadoption, parrothelp.org, parrothelp.info, parrothelp.us, parrothelp.net, parrothelp.biz and Parrot Help. Always something new here.
While it has never been our dispute that the volunteers who left here and started ParrotHelp.Com own and have a right to whatever name they choose, we claim the right to our opinion that their choice is just too close to ours.
The birds in the program are now at the PAEParazzi, and are waiting to meet you. Toys, food, cages, carriers, stands and more are available. Look in the PAEPer for more info and public hours for the week. 7317 Lake Drive in Lino Lakes MN. Off 35W, just south on Hwy 23 (which will become Lake Drive). PARROTHELP.ORG signs in boulevard and over entrance door.
Our new location is going to be called "The PAEParazzi" but that doesn't fit any better than our full name, so we chose PARROTHELP.ORG (always our domain name) for the signs.
HOURS: Public welcome without appointment Tues 5-7p, Thur 5-7p(no public hours Nov 27th), and Sat 11a-2p(no public hours Nov 29th). Verify on the EVENT/SCHEDULE and PAEPer pages, also.
We’re a non-profit organization dedicated to helping displaced and unwanted exotic birds find safe, loving homes.
Our Mission To protect and provide for the welfare of companion parrots through education and consultation of current parrot owners, and the careful placement of displaced birds in well-prepared homes.
About Us We’re a volunteer-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located and working in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota. We were established in November of 2000. We’re a dedicated group of individuals with one common goal: the welfare of companion parrots and those living in the wild. We work closely with local avian veterinarians to ensure the parrots placed with us are in the best of health. We also work with nationally respected avian behaviorists, Humane Societies and other parrot rescue and adoption services.
